mulegolf ThePhillB Oklahoma I almost drove all the way down there to buy my current golf cart. I was looking all over the internet for what I wanted and found that a guy north of Tulsa (can't remember what the town's name was but it had an Indian casino) buys carts off lease and paints them to resell. I inquired if he would paint one t match my Ford Edge's Deep Impact Blue. He said yes and I told him I had to clear up a couple of things but I wanted one and would tell him for sure 2-3 weeks later. About a week and a half later he sent me an email that said my cart was ready. I said that had told him I wouldn't be ready for a week or so yet. I'll contact you when I can come down. When I called him a week later he said I just sold it yesterday, I didn't think you really wanted it. I growled at him a bit and said maybe I'll get back to you next year if I don't find what I want by then. I did find what I wanted in Iowa.
Walterjn Yesterday on my way back to California. The clouds were starting to get low as I was climbing up the only mountain pass I needed to cross. It actually started to snow on me at the top.
candukid Thing is that we don’t normally see them. This was a treat for Southern Ontario. The pinks were not really visible but the camera picked it up. This is one time when the pics were better than the real thing. Although it was spectacular seeing them across the whole sky. Going to try agin tonight. If the clouds hold off.
Bravopilot candukid Yes, very cool to see. For me, the fascination is how they are created and what is out there exactly. Have flown at night just staring into the lights hoping to see something. Maybe some kid waving a wand and making the lights move.👍
mulegolf candukid Thing is that we don’t normally see them. This was a treat for Southern Ontario. They were visible here in Minnesota as well the past couple of nights. We seldom see the them as far south as I live. I've only seen them twice in my life.-
Supp Playing Scrabble yesterday and I drew up this lot of tiles midway through the game. Nice! Oh well, at least I could spell farm . . . as in E - I - E - I - O .
LBlack14 d5n03 Looks like King’s Island. Yep. My fastest way to and from work, when it's closed. I live about 2-3 miles from and can watch their, nightly, fireworks from my driveway, in the fall.
d5n03 LBlack14 I grew up in Coshocton & Fairfield counties. Lived in Cincinnati for a short while. I know Ohio pretty well & I know the area where you reside. Been to King’s Island several times as a kid.
