This Evenings Nightcap!!!
Hey Pat (Faux Amish)
Don't have my cheaters, what is it?
Never had them, but this is http://angelsenvy.com/whiskey/rye-finished-in-rum-casks
I don't drink much any longer.
These days, Alcohol is not good for my health in general, have to give it up for the most part after the injury.
Saved some for special occasion. I had accumulated some very nice bottles of liquor, Some First Malt from Scotland and Ireland, XO cognac from France, and several bottles of the very best liquor from China ( gift from friends ). My wife is keeping a tab on these bottles so , no sneaking a drink or two.
I used to enjoy a 2 fingers or 3 , after dinner to wind down, now a cup of hot tea will do the job.
My wife keeps tabs, but I don't try to hide them. I am what I am, I was what I was, and I always be what I am. No offense intended.
FauxAmish Great stuff. IIRC, we had some of that on Friday 13th, 2014 at an Old Firehouse that has been converted into a bar in Louisville. I believe it was also on your Birthday and they got $12 a shot for it.
You Are Correct Pat. The bar was called The Silver Dollar. Great place for bourbon drinkers!

Ooooooo, my wife would be all over that place.
A bourbon on the rocks lady when she wants that real kick.
Amish drink?

Apparently Thou has never been around a Barn after the darkness of a weekend night.
Do the Amish drink?
Yes, quite liberally by the way, denial being a virtue in some communities.
What they do not do well is control their horses when they , the drivers, become inebriated. For some Darn reason those horses just can't seem to stop for the Stop Signs.
Unfortunately ... Not a Laughing Matter.
Ahhhhhh, the old barn get together.
Very interesting.
Never would have imagined being T-boned by a horse and buggy. Poor horse. Hope they carry insurance.
So even though the horse is the designated driver, stuff happens?
A newer model upgrade = younger horse?
