sdandrea1 There's a bit of that going on everywhere.

More than a bit I think. I hate to do it, but our sales are competitive and can never keep up with inflation so you get it when you can.

Looks like the price hikes were across the site. The Paderson Kinetixx TS-D2 shaft jumped from $99 to $169. (Same ones I picked up last year on clearance for $5)

Other clubheads are the same price. Maybe the TC tour fwy and/or hybrids was $5 more but ?? Most others are the same just eye balling it๐Ÿค”

I asked the question on the product page, got the typical our costs have gone up stuff. Sorry it just rubs me the wrong way and reeks of we are doing cuz we can. Why didn't you just price it at 179$ twenty days ago when this product was released. That was the first time the product hit the site and you needed to raise it within 20 days....lol quickest price hike ever!

I'm waiting for the TS4 irons. Any guesses what the retail price will be for a simple forged blade which doesn't have features that require expensive manufacturing techniques.

The problem is not just a higher cost of doing business. Golfworks is controlled by Dick's Sporting Goods, a public company who's shareholders must be appeased and why we'll never see a $13 clubhead again.

sdandrea1 Good components are easily surpassing the prices of good used OEM clubs. No bueno......

๐Ÿ‘†this. Why would anyone pay $180 for a component head when they could get a new O211 PXG driver with a darn good shaft for 20 bucks more?

sdandrea1 that's it, didn't.want.tonsay it but damn. They did this with the ISO T and I suspect did not sell well at all. The MAX looks good to me eye and seems like it would be a contender but not at that price!

pellmell that's the other product that has my interest. Glad they are offering a new forging that isn't good filled and managing face, but I'm expecting a $50 pricetag per head!

          ode

My take is that they hastily put it up and realized that it was not priced properly. That may be giving them the benefit of the doubt. ๐Ÿ™„

          ode TS1 & TS2 are $50.
Expect higher for the new heads.

That ISO T driver head is now $90.

I'll just throw this out here, after giving GW a third chance.

While looking around their site, a couple small items caught my eye and I ordered/paid for them. After a few minutes I get a confirmation............... that also tells me 1 of the items is backordered til 1/30, maybe then. This never showed when ordering or paying.

This company= a piece of shit in business. Never again. Violations of 3rd chances in this house= life.
I won't care if those TS4 heads are $12 shipped for the complete set. I'll never buy.

Par4QC ts1 and 2 are goo filled flex face; ts3 and ts4 one piece forged.....closest comp would be the PTM (ts3) which was 34.99, and MMB (ts4) which was 32.99, but they were 8620, not sure what the ts3/4 will be.....but they are forged and by what is being said in GW forums the closest resemblance. Add in all the "stuff costs more" talk and it will likely be $50 per head. The TS1- IM will be the closest replacement/addition for/to the ts1 (and ts2 materials/manufacturing wise) and could be compared to price wise to those. My understanding is the face will move away from carbon steel to maraging steel, not sure which metal cost more, but rest assured the ts1-im will come at a hefty cost.....I'd venture a guess at 65$ per head! I do hope they don't raise prices on all new product within 20 days of release by 12% with no explanation๐Ÿ™ƒ

Re: the ISO T it was 169 at release!

colej me too, there is some hope it won't. Tour TC driver 150, Max = 180, 16.666% increase in price, apply that to Ts1-Im= $60. Any way you sneeze at it, GW forged head + decent shaft + decent grip is over $100 per iron, easy. One can hope they bring back the $1.99 shipping deal๐Ÿ™ƒ

KBS prices have went to the stratosphere.

Looks like Nippon has stayed fairly stable.

Welp Hireko....maybe you guys have room for a comeback๐Ÿค”

ode I do hope they don't raise prices on all new product within 20 days of release by 12% with no explanation

Well, they actually aren't 'released' yet, so they can change the price. BUT, that price should never have been posted prior to release! Like I said, shit for biz ethics.

When I was in business, my accountant told me to raise prices every Jan. 1, by 5%, regardless of my costs(same/lower). If costs went up, add to that 5%. 12% is probably not so out of line today. The figure they posted was way before the end of last year, and China has just a 'small problem' these days.
But again, they should never have posted a price, unless "projected' was accompanying it. And then when things went South, explain it away.
