sdandrea1 they certainly were when it came to the 4 pc. ksig ball. It's odd as by all accounts a rebadged ball from the factory. No r and d, zilch, just the ksig logo....yet they look down on clones, components, etc. etc. I guess Costco and Kirkland signature has its own kind of brand loyalty and Kool aid drinkers!

It appears to be a short hosel design, which redistributes the COG away from the heel and toward the geometric center of the face increasing forgiveness.

Subsonic The price is right they will sell... Look at the putter and wedges...

Do they sell well? I've only seen one putter out there......no wedges.

Let’s see….10 gallons of Mayo, a gross of Toothbrushes, 25 lbs of Hersheys kisses, 4 new tires for the car and a set of blades.🙄

Bad thing is people who know nothing about clubs will just buy them amd suck even more than they did before. I have yet to see the Kirkland wedges in a decent players bag. If Costco really cared, they’d have put out GI irons not blades. This is more like “throw crap at the ball and see what sticks.”

I don't think they are geared at decent players. They are a budget option for a 3 wedge set. 3 wedges for $149 , less than the price of one big brand name wedge.
Costco wedges have TT wedge flex shaft , no custom options. I expect the irons to have a similar type of build and target audience....that segment of the population looking for a low priced option.

By all accounts the wedges were a home run for Costco and they got decent reviews .I saw quite a few Costco wedges in bags and know a couple guys with them, they are not great golfers but these wedge in their hands will work as well as a set of wedges that costs $500- $600.

Costco is way bigger than all the golf companies combined, them adding clubs is a pittance to them and their bottom line....it worked with their balls, wedges, putter and gloves, I suspect it will also with the irons....depending on their pricing. It shows as a forged head on USGA which will increase cost but they will probably sell tons so that could keep the price down. I would think a 4-pw set will have to stay in the $450 or less range

Weirfan It’s too bad that the irons are actually geared for better players will be bought be people who are not better players. If they were better players…. They wouldn’t be buying a set of blades at Costco with a vat of Mayonnaise.

Costco said, build us a set of clubs that look nice that people will just buy. Throw it against the wall, see if it sticks. People buying these are probably doing their game a disservice.

It will be interesting to see what they look like in person. I should be able to maybe this fall....ground has been broken in Scarborough.

            pellmell

That makes a lot more sense that they be GI heads like the P770/790 and similar designs

pellmell If they look like the Ping g700/710 irons then they are GI hollow bodies. If they are like the P790/770 they are not GI.

I think if they keep the price in the $400 to $500 range they will sell a bunch of them. Especially if they have a recognizable brand shaft. People love a good deal...

I have no need for the Callaway set that they sell, but I would be lying if I told you I had not thought about buying a set. You know, to just see if they are decent. 🤪😁
