Walterjn north-bc have you been able to try the XL's or either srixon?? You are being told to not "Mickey mouse", by whom?? That right there ( depending on who is saying that) makes me think that you have their blessings, and I would be hitting more than a few different clubs that I like to look of to find what feels/ works best for me.... Also makes me think that I wouldn't be getting another new set for about 10 years...not without a discussion or 3...
Typhoon toraider Takomo Golf started because the owner thought golf club prices were out of control. Takomo irons, both heads are awesome looking. I think they are worth it as long as you’re not looking at resale value. I hear they perform like the top oems they are copying. If I had the money and shit, I’d get a set.
north-bc Thanks for all the recommendations so far. The boss is telling me to not Mickey Mouse it. She wants me to not go and find something cheap just because it’s cheap. Unfortunately I can’t demo anything since there is 2’ of snow on the ground. The guy that had the srixons and launchers joist set up a small shop for Christmas in our mall. He was gone by Boxing Day. Whatever I get I will be hanging onto for a long while. The closest place to demo would be a 3.5 hour drive away.
