Typhoon Yeah, he’s ripping it up😂

He's on tour making money. I'd say he qualifies as a serious golfer. Same for Stricker, Harman, etc. You can sell all the tech you want to posers and shooters, but they're not serious golfers. Putters are very personal items and new tech doesn't sink putts. Golfers sink putts.

    Typhoon the mallet

I've tried them, don't like them. Too busy/too much going on when looking down at the ball.
    I only want to see.....ball-sightline.
I'm left eye dominant. I don't want to have something sticking out 6" behind the ball distracting me.

I loved my Scotty and putt well with it. That being said I’m not seeing going back to it. As ugly as my LAB is it smokes the Cameron in every category except looks. Line it up it practically swings itself. I’m hitting my lines constantly with no punishment on mishits. These things are crazy good. I paid more for the Scotty. This thing was a steal for $225

colej He could play one handed and beat everyone on this forum.

      With a 50 year old putter!👍

Par4QC I'm left eye dominant. I don't want to have something sticking out 6" behind the ball distracting me.

This is me also. I have to focus too hard if there is something too large behind the ball distracting me. They do putt nicely , but the transition would be difficult.

Eguller Now if L.A.B would come along with an old school head, like the Bullseye, that was designed the same as these hulks, I'd be in for one. Minimal distraction.
I did love the Link1 though. Nothing better in my hands ever. But, having got it for only a low entry fee, and being able to sell it for over 400, it was 1 of those no brainer deals.

sdandrea1 new tech doesn't sink putts.

You might want to tell the guys winning on tour this…. Oh, start with Lucas Glover. And the guys at LAB where these are back ordered because of demand. And all the rave reviews from people who have bought them.

Oh, and tell the guys on here buying them too.

The same shit happens every time a new "thing" comes out and gets attention and in the hands of a few high profile players. Then it fizzles out. Remember 17 more yards RBZ?

I ain't buying it. The honeymoon will end. You're in the sales business John. Deep down, you know I'm right. 😘

L.A.B. putters are not a new thing. Been around for over 10 years. The recent OEM putters may well fizzle out, esp. if they start to infringe on the patents that L.A.B. golf has.
I'll now say that as long as they are not infringing on those patents, they def will fizzle out.
If putters could be built as L.A.B. builds theirs, & be as the current OEM putters are, L.A.B. would already be building some in that manner, with a patent. IOW, IMO, the current OEM putters are a farce. Won't perform repeatedly (key word!) as L.A.B. putters do.

Yes. Local shop is a fitter. They used a mezz fitting club.

UNCLE! I'm just trying to make the point that serious golfers don't HAVE to have the latest tech to putt their best. I thought John's comment earlier implied that serious golfers always seek the latest tech in putters. I disagree. It's just an opinion. Everybody else wins. I'm wrong. 😡😘😂

P.S. shopping for a L.A.B. putter as you read this
              .😎

I agree, so don't misunderstand my reply above. Just pointing out that L.A.B. is not a new kid on the block in putters. As shown by this years new OEM offerings, they are the leader to be copied. But I'm saying they cannot be, with them holding a few patents that others cannot copy. imo, that makes these newbies irrelevant, their putters will not work as the L.A.B. do. Cheap pricing means cheap product...we know that. But people sometimes do not want to believe.

When I'm able to get around to GG, I will have a go at these new putters. If they are as good as the L.A.B. in their specific performance, I may well buy one.

Walterjn I came to that conclusion long ago, for $50 on a used Rife putter from somebody here. She’s still in the bag and it’s going to be tough to displace.

Par4QC what patents do they hold that can’t be worked around to duplicate the results? I’m not saying you are wrong, I’m just curious what they could possibly have done that’s so impossible to replicate.

I feel that either Tour Edge, Powerbuilt, Ray Cook..or someone similar will have a version of it soon and it will be under $200, maybe under $150.

From Golf Monthly: "...at the time of writing this piece, only one player inside the top-20 in the world (Viktor Hovland) has used a zero torque putter during a competitive round on the PGA Tour..

DC300 what patents do they hold that

Possibly the video fitting, or anything in the fitting procedure that no one else is using?
