How does Lodging work now? Most, if not ALL of you, stay in a house I think. Do some, a few or all of you use the hotels?
Looks like I am going to be there most certainly. I was just looking for the area of town I need to look into for a place to hang the hat for a few days. Wanna be close to the gang and close to courses. Probably get there on Tuesday and leave Sunday or Monday.
Desert Storm 2023 - Sep 7-9
Unless something stupid happens. I plan on being there Tuesday till monday..DO I need to tell the Hobbit..or whomever....I have not played any course out there in ages...pick some...I have never played the We-Ko-pa ones...I know they have been in heavy rotation in your games...maybe I play an unofficial DS round there.
Next up is finding lodging...iis a big city...I have played 3 rounds in the last month.....zero in thr 16 months prior...
ALL - Some of the course options have fallen through. Other events, cannot get us out early enough, etc.
In order to not repeat from last year I'm looking at Grayhawk for Saturday. Any other options to consider before I do?
Southern Dunes had another event
Sterling Grove couldn't get us out until 10am, as the morning times are for members
Camelback was similar - Ambiente is a member course and Padre was the only morning option
Troon North and Las Sendas are pricing themselves awfully high
Kierland didn't return my email/call
Sounds like you've been working hard.
Personally, I say don't knock yourself out.
The Verado courses are always great to play even though we have played them. Maybe we simply have to double up on the same course
lookout Mountain
Dinosaur Mountain
Raven
Boulders
Grayhawk
Sunridge Canyon
Papago ( apparently much improved)
Forgot to include...
Dinosaur - no early times
Sunridge is never open during September
Boulders, more expensive than Grayhawk
Raven and Verrado were last year - trying not to repeat
I'm just going to book Grayhawk I think.
I updated the first post several days ago, but wanted to post the rounds here for any that did not see it.

Hey Vinnie,
I'm getting in around noon on Saturday the 2nd and hoping to play that early afternoon. Thinking Raven or Papago. I've reached out to James ( Customgolf) and Jack so maybe you can round out the 4-some....will touch base in a few weeks
