I remember these guys...Team PINK! Thinking about trying to put a trip together...no golf in a year.....stay tuned!
We Don't Look Like That Now!!!
Even though Al will be there, I guess I'm in!
Is it September yet?
Time to solicit course preferences! Thanks in advance.
I'm going to try and get Sterling Grove, as it is planned to go private soon.
Anything else is up for suggestion - below are the past few years to give people an idea of what we've played recently.
2022
- Verrado - Victory, Founders
- Golf Club of Estrella
- We Ko Pa - Cholla, Saguaro
2021
- TPC Scottsdale
- Quintero
- Grayhawk
- Raven South Mountain
2020
- Troon North
- Golf Club of Estrella
- We Ko Pa
Two notations to make
Quintero has not been kind on pricing or to having outings and is not on my list of places to book right now. Change my mind
TPC Scottsdale - prices seemed to go through the roof last year. If they are the same, we will avoid that as well.

Greyhawk, Las Sendas, Gold Canyon, Southern Dunes, Troon North.
hobbit All of those look good to me. If TPC and Quintero have priced themselves out then that’s fine.
Enjoyed Verado and they’ve added a course since I came last.
Is Desert Ridge any good? I looked at it for accommodation with on site golf but I think it’s going to be outside the price bracket.

Sterling Grove would be a good choice if available. Played it last year before I left for Utah.
Gold Canyon/Dinosaur Mountain and Sidewinder
Southern Dunes
Whirlwind Cats Tail and Devils Claw
Can’t go wrong with both Verrado Courses either.
Screw those jabronies at Quintero especially if they want crazy money like the last time we played, not to mention Rick had to pay up front for everyone.

I would love to play Southern Dunes again. The last time I played it there was this crazy Kentucky boy in my foursome. Could be a dedicated round to our late comrade Brandon for this Buzzer.
First course being locked down - Thursday at Talking Stick.
$115 for the first round, $194 for 36 holes.
