Around here it depends what area you are in. I’ve been getting some $2.95 gas but the next town over is still at $3.25. I love our Rt.1 Peabody gas price war right now!!

propman Good old days were 24.9 cents. Sunoco 260 (needed for high performance cars) was about 5 cents more. Red Barn hamburgers were 15 cents.

johnnydoom Well it’s up 40% from 1/2021 just like most other things we need to buy.

How much was it in 2010? Try that on for size... Oh, Obama administration? If that's your take then you don't understand how the oil industry works. It's got nothing to do with ANY presidential administration.

All of that is mainly due to Covid. Wages/income skyrocketed in order to get employees to work, or even stay working. Anyone selling anything is going to have to raise prices, and even those that don't need to, will & did.

Who was in office during the start & height of Covid.....and could have done A LOT more to stop what we are seeing now?
That man........πŸ€”πŸ˜©.....like 9/11......NEVER FORGET!!!

    Par4QC Wages/income skyrocketed

Tell that to my boss. I have not seen engineering wages increase 40% since Covid. Please don't tell me it's raining while the administration is pissing down my back. My wages are up 9%, my day-to-day expenses are up 30%+.

BTW - I got gas today and it was $2.69. So better than 3 weeks ago by $0.20. πŸ‘

sdandrea1 I just filled my propane tanks at BJs for $3.09 / gallon. Is that a good price? Two tanks cost me $25 total.

I pay $1.45 per gallon for LP at the local co-op for my furnace but my 20 lb. LP tank costs $18 to fill.

mulegolf Don't ever buy the prefilled tanks that you exchange. They are only partially filled.

All administrations piss down our backs. Imo, foolish to think otherwise.
And they have since the 60s ( that's as far back that I remember).

            propman the good ole days

Times were great when all we had to do was decide between hunt, or gather.πŸ˜‰

And that's why we need more folks like you engaged in these types of discussions. Finally, a voice of reason, knowledge, and understanding! Thank you!

And, how much more is your boss making now?

And, another! Wow, is this national clarity day?
