Rickochet [deleted] That made me want to fry some spam. Something people never believe but at 74 I have never tried mamajuana or spam. 😛 But, I have never smoked a single cigarette and I was a picky eater as a kid.
Bravopilot Rickochet have eaten SPAM and Haggis, same on no to marijuana or cigs, But I do like cigars.
mulegolf CallMeAl That's what I grilled last night and about that same size too. Tonight we had hot dogs. It's been raining again and we had a reprieve about 4:30 PM so we made it quick on the grill with hot dogs. They're actually pretty good on the grill (if they're all beef dogs or at least beef and pork...no chicken).
Rickochet Bravopilot have eaten SPAM and Haggis I have eaten rattlesnake and horse. Snake is like chicken and horse was like a lean roast beef. Had the horse on a Norwegian smorgasbord.
Typhoon Bravopilot have eaten SPAM and Haggis, same on no to marijuana or cigs, But I do like cigars. Eating a Cheez-it right now
Hammer4413 Egg, sausage and cheese casserole, pan of chocolate fudge brownies, and a pan of cornbread muffins.
Bravopilot Rickochet Got me there. Have eaten Reindeer in Norway. Lots of food in Japan and Korea I did not know what it was since not in English and did not look like anything I recognized. Passed on Kangaroo in Australia.
johnnydoom New Mexico green chili stew. Haven’t had a bowlful yet, but in tasting it for seasoning I am very much looking forward to it. Never made, or had it before.
johnnydoom Bravopilot I used to bring the Hatch chilis home with me when I visited Dad. Did a lot with them, but never made stew. This was just made with grocery store Anaheim chilis with a jalapeño thrown in for a little heat. It smells outstanding and I think will also taste great. Waiting for my daughter to get home from band practice so we can eat.
Walterjn Working on a box of these right now. Spent a lot of today so far weed eating the back yard at boss lady's CA place.
johnnydoom My daughter thought it humorous when I told her I’d be having sausage and sauerkraut for supper. She said you’re going to eat German on Independence Day?
[deleted] We were invited to attend a BBQ a lady's house of the outfit my wife work's at. A bunch of her family was there..all very nice...including 2 Rottweilers and a Golden Retriever. No cooking for us and a great time.
professor Roasted and chilled fresh red beats, with a drizzling of Ceasar dressing and many chunks of blue cheese. Tasty and cold to try and offset this freaking heat.
Rickochet I had my first corn on the cob of the season. It was bi-color I got from Krogers 5 ears for $3. I wasn't expecting much but the ears were large and full and still in the husk. I do nothing to the ears and put them in the microwave shucks on and cooked two large ears for 6 mins. They come out hot and steaming so grab them with a pot holder. Saw off the big end of the ear about an inch from the end then start squeezing the silks end and the ear pops out with no silks. I laugh every time I do this. The corn was full and excellent. Here is a video how the process works. I don;t agree with how long the video dude cooked his but it shows the process.
Eguller Rickochet I just did the same, but cut the larger end off prior to cooking - easier cob removal. Mine bicolor were only fair this year. 😓
