At 61 he won the Senior World championship in 1973 at 20 under so I'm pretty sure he was still scoring in the 60's at 65. He also teamed with Don January to win the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf 1983 at 71, I bet he was still in the 60's then.

                      Playing today, I was "thinking" MLTD concepts. Not sure that I'm actually embracing the mechanics, but Trish's videos helped. The centered concept and target-focus led to some very solid turf shots. I can tell it's an "arms" swing because my back is happy.

                            Bad habits are hard to break. In an effort to get my weight to the target side, I tend to sway laterally when I'm not focused on centering. Gotta just think about "right shoulder, left shoulder, down the target line. This promotes centered vs swaying.

                                I am definitely going to stay the course with MDLT for the irons through next season. Like where it has started and want to see where it keeps going.

                                  Manuel is think hands back swing (but do not become a wrist roller-take away with hands have club face neutral to closed not open). Think upper arm elbow to shoulder socket thru to the forward swing (upper arm bicep).

                                  You intention eventually will stop a lot of swaying as you will see impact improve unconsciously. If you start consciously working on swaying that is a body focused swing which is not a centered club focused Jones/De La Torre concept.

                                      Once you use the centered club focused same technique with driver that club will come around. If you use two different swings longer clubs will always be an issue IMO.

                                          Yep, agree. I'm only focusing on the hands& arms over right shoulder back thru target line to left shoulder. The result is no swaying. I did notice that my biceps and triceps are more involved. I can actually feel it. Club is on a better path too. Works with the driver too!
