Once you read Manuel's book you see some differences. The basics are close but Manuel stresses targeting and I have said this countless times but most folks don't get that point. Majority of golfers are not target focused. I think, Subsonic is as his story about his shots he took at the range and let us know.
IMO Bill Owens took Ernest Jones theory about centered swing motion and built Triangulaid then Stephane Bacholz took it further. I think Brian Sparks took some of Owens and now his brother Phillip is taking Brian's methods further.
Manuel took centered swing from his father Angel and Angel took it from Ernest Jones. Who knows if Ernest Jones had never lost his leg in WWI maybe this would never have become a different way to swing a club.
BTW...to make a ball on a string take 3' of thin laundry line poke two holes in a tennis ball waaallllaaa ball on a string. I have made 4 over the years for friends. Costs a few bucks.
