Wow, the CDC appears to be quite anti-science now all of a sudden. We know natural immunity wanes as does vaccine immunity but now it doesn't matter apparently. Waning immunity was only important when we had a solution, the booster, but if not enough people are getting it, then waning immunity become irrelevant. Same can be said for infection, no need for social distancing anymore because the jab doesn't stop it so what's the point I guess. Well, better late than never - I remember getting lambasted for suggesting that we have to live with covid as a solution to not striving for mass vaccination, even when it was clear that mass vaccination could not be achieved, but I digress.
In any case, I hope this means that I'll be allowed to travel to the US soon as I have been waiting to go to Hawaii for a long time now - we were supposed to go in 2020 but that got cancelled. Of course, there's always the next pandemic, monkeypox, that can derail my travel plans😭, but only time will tell.
