PM darpar, he could give you an interesting finish!

You can pay a pro to powdercoat and get a real refinish. I have been dabbling with re-PAINTING driver heads and can do a decent job but the finish is not near as durable as a pro job or a powdercoat. I learned to do it myself and it is quite fun. I strip all the old paint off, mask it, prime it and paint it with off the shelf Rustoleum spray paint. Once you learn to "bend" masking tape, it's just a matter of carefully spraying on light coats and then clear coat and maybe a coat of rub on wax/polish.

I'll be happy to do it for you if you want, but it will def be a DIY quality job. I'd charge for paint and return shipping. I can't accept money for the labor because I can't guarantee the finish. 😉

Yeah, but I question his choice of colors. 😁

I've done a few and found electrical tape a lot easier to manipulate than making tape. I haven't done any that's had a bunch of detail making though. I'm chicken.

Have you tried the pinstripe tapes for detail ?

Yeah, it was in great shape, but I wasn't crazy about the white and LOVE the new look....

I'd be happy with a restoration to "newish," but that carbon fiber look on the TM driver is super sweet. Maybe I should consider getting a little creative...

I dunno. I think I'd be perfectly happy with one an all-over metallic black. The sole plate is black/red, so making the crown blue would be a little goofy. You feel good about that, sd?
