Nope, I’d never play there. I used to play a course that needed some serious maintenance help, BUT the greens were always good. I literally went out and hand dug all the bunkers back up and raked them back to shape (with permission of the cheap ass owner) another guy took his own chainsaw out and cut up a tree that had fallen that the grounds keeper just kept mowing around. It was a shit show, but it was a great course, cheap AF and fun to hang out at. Eventually, the failure of a grounds keeper literally got put in jail and they hired a guy who actually wanted to do the job, it all changed. The course is back to beautiful shape, still cheap, still fun, but much better off.
