Here's a Pro Tip for you, just in case...

When heating the hosel on those irons and similar including Classic Walter Hagen black buttons....

DO NOT stand in front of the hosel. Or , should I say, looking right at the button.

Quite often they come out of there during heating like a bullet

Eguller I ended up landing on the FG-17's If the chrome didn't flake off and cut the hell out of your hand as you went in to grab a club, These are the two best sets of Wilson irons IMO

Not worth the effort to me, I'll get them FLO'd and that's it. Once done and played a round or two, I will report back via this thread as to what the results were.

Okay, I took my 3 drivers to my club guy (clubguygolf dot com) and he checked the specs on them and spine alignment. He found that they were pretty much aligned as assembled and his opinion was that they didn't need to be FLO'd. He said not worth the effort. He found that the 10* had best spine alignment followed by the 13* and the 8*. Soooo--ummmm- I guess the problem is the ummmm golfer.
