bigshank You can’t even build a Maltby TS 1/2 with a decent shaft for that price. If I were in the market I’d be hard pressed to pass on these. KABOOM BABY!

Bravopilot At that price they are a steal. They look great at address and they feel great hitting them. There’s really nothing not to like.

I have one with Recoil Dart and I think they are great. I had to adjust little due to strong loft but once I figured out the distance of each club, I think it has been great.

Jelopster although in a similar category...TS1/2 are 1020 steel. I don't know what the 0211 are made of, I suspect some sort of maraging steel face on Stainless body, but ?? No doubt the 0211 are a heckuva deal, if that's what you are looking for!/?

sukkeun I had to adjust little due to strong loft

Technically speaking, they are weak lofts, compared to 'yesterday's' iron specs.

You've obviously been mislead by looking at the number on the sole. Look at the loft vs. length, and you will see what you have.

A 24* 6i @ 38 1/8" is nothing more than a long 5i/short 4i from yesterday. Nobody can hit that loft successfully, hit after hit, except very low 'cappers/Pros! Even their 28* 7i won't be hit reasonably by most amateurs.

Club companies are stupid, imo, for doing the numbers/loft thing that they are doing now. Some are getting even more stupid, making the lofts even lower. I laugh, because when I order a new set of irons, I can now buy even fewer clubs, just by buying 'loft', not 'numbers'. How does that make them extra money?? With these PXG irons, I only need 3.

sdandrea1 Last 2 years I've found the GW an unnecessary clutter in my bag. Easily getting along without it. An extra hybrid takes its place in a slot.

Par4QC I've found the GW an unnecessary clutter

The GW is essential for me. I don't practice enough to be consistent with partial PW swings.

pellmell The GW is essential for me.

My Nakashima 52 used to be my favorite club. Used it everywhere from 100 yds and in even when the 56 might have been better. I haven't really liked a GW since. I feel like I rarely use mine now. That said I don't feel like I use my 8-P at my course much either . I feel like I am wearing out 60*, 7, 6, 5h though. The shift in clubs from getting older and shorter I guess.

There's something about PXG that makes me think "meh". Not sure if it's the ads, all the screws, or what, but I've never looked at them and thought I HAVE to have a set.

The Average Golfer gets custom fit for the PXG Gen 5 irons. I believe Andy Sullivan is ~ a 7 capper. Plus he gets a hole in one using them. No mention of price except expensive. lol

I put 3 in the cart yesterday, then deleted. No way will I pay $20/club for shipping. Just put the damn labor cost/material(box) cost in the price. People do not like shipping fees! Even when the end cost is same. Bad way of doing biz, imo. Hook 'em!!

The OG PXG 0211 irons are available with UST Dart shafts as a set only for $79 per club. Unbeatable new value..
You just have to put up with $60 shipping/handling...... But custom specs - not an extra charge.

You might be able to find out who your area rep is and get a better deal on the shipping?

Always worth a try, all they can say is "no" and then feel bad and see what happens..... 😉

Already noted above. Call them. Don’t order off the website. Better yet, find a local rep. They may / will get you a better price on both the clubs and the shipping rate.
