New Golfworks Offerings for 2017
That PTM2 looks sweet! And $70 isn't bad for a milled carbon steel head. Crazy that the blade head is 17g heavier than the mallet.
Starting to wander if it's a typo....I'll sign in over there and ask a question on the product page.
candukid Just saying here...$45 for a FW head + buy a headcover. Then a grip and shaft and ferrule and then assemble.
Looking at about $100 easy (plus shipping) (in Canuck bucks it would run me well over $170 to get it to my door)
Why would I buy a component over a year old OEM?
discuss away....
Well, I would counter that the OEM doesn't come with your hand picked shaft and built to your specs, correct?
For a more valid comparison, look at the Maltby Club Paks. They don't have them yet for the unstocked new heads, but for the KE4 fairways...$74.99 gets you a $50 head, Xcaliber shaft, Lamkin grip, & headcover all assembled to your requested spec.
Asked and answered-
Yes those weights are correct. The Mallet has black aluminum insert that brings the weight down some otherwise it would likely be heavier then the blade.
Let's revive this thread, new catalog arrived today....a few new offerings in addition to the fwy and putter previously noted....new iron in rh and lh; STw and STf now available in lh and most importantly without the bikini paint job....I can vouch for the driver, excellent, tall face height, elongated heel to toe, very forgiving and easy to hit with a muted sound and solid feel, and the MMB'S with DBM finish....which aren't up on the site yet....only available as a set.
Yep....catalog just arrived....must resist...or not.
Lol
Golfworks new milled putters arriving at GW on 02/10. I have one on back order.
My catalog arrived yesterday. Some nice offerings in there...
I got 2 catalogs yesterday, oops, one is yours Steve. Sorry, got brown gravy on it.
The MMB with DBM finish is sexy.

MMB's in black do look nice

They do look nice. Once concern I would have is if that DBM finish limits the adjustability. On the Golfworks site there are several reviews of people reporting they snapped the Tour Grind MG wedges w/that finish when only bending them less than a degree. There were several that reported that. I know its not possible to know what methods or tools they were using to try and achieve that so user error is certainly a possibility. Golfworks claims the wedges are adjustable up to 2*.
