The stats in the report mean nothing to me, or my game. I added anywhere from 10-30 yds. off the tee this past season just by moving up to the 'so-called' Sr. tees. It changed the game, big time!! I don't have to try to hit a club I'm not comfortable with, and can hit the club, with 'my' yardage associated to that club, that I need to. Don't have to try to stretch any yardage out of it, nor swing any differently than I'm used to. Still can't hit any Par 5 holes in 2, but can damn well birdie them more often. I can still shoot mid/high 80's from the back, but when you are carding high 70's and real low 80's, it's just a nicer day. Plan to play more this year and expect to be hitting Par a few times. Even old guys can improve, if they use their minds.
Screw "average" stats, right in the arse. I guess people got to make a living by doing something, and statisticians are certainly a boring lot.
