We're well north of Tampa so we dodged the big bullet. Just wind rain and no damage. @Sneakylong is south of me so I await his response. Thanks Johnny!

Thanks for asking. As Steve said we got lucky. It was tracked to hit Tampa and like Charlie in 2004 it turned and hit the south west part of the state. Ian was a combination of Charlie strength wise and Irma (2017) size wise. Devastating storm.
We feel for the people affected by Ian. Dodging hurricanes is the price we pay to live in paradise. California has earthquakes, but there is no earthquake season every year like we have here in Florida with hurricane season.
Btw Tampa hasn’t had a direct hit since 1921. Fingers crossed that trend continues.
That was strange. I see a link to an article (claiming to be by Sports Illustrated) proclaiming Phil as the highest paid athlete, but then when I google a list, he's nowhere to be seen on most of them. News washing?

Sir Charles didn't go to LIV, but he leveraged it for a $100 mil contract with TNT. Still says he's planning to retire early though.
johnnydoom Early? Isn't he like 60 now?
garyt1957 Probably. Says he's likely to retire before finishing the term of the contract.
Unfortunately the last memory of him was.gagging.on 18 at the PGA. Best of luck Mito,
Is LIV league still a thing?
