raggmann54 Looks like Fowler is planning to remain with the PGA
Didn't like the 12 dollar offer from LIV is my guess.
raggmann54 Not really a Player meeting as first reported, more a Tiger & Friends rally. Still, be interested in knowing what they discussed. Maybe they voted Tiger Commissioner
Makes sense.
Bravopilot Maybe they voted Tiger Commissioner
There was a separate "coup meeting" after the first one.

This is allegedly part of a draft of the LIV contract with players....
"Per the WSJ, âit isnât clear whether such terms are included in all LIV contracts or can be negotiated by individual players,â but hereâs a rundown of the key details on the draft LIV contract, which includes a hefty bonus for any major championship win:
Players are supposed to wear LIV apparel, even when playing in non-LIV events.
Players are instructed to refrain from giving interviews without approval.
Players agree to assist in recruiting other players to LIV, when requested.
Players need approval for most of the logos they wear and branded products, such as coffee mugs that they use at events.
Players are awarded a $1 million bonus for winning any of golfâs four major championships. "
Mother of 2 just received a 34 year prison sentence for âtweetingâ. Guess where ? Seems appropriate
Eguller I'm not about to stick up for some foreign country, or what they do or don't do, but a question.
What did she tweet about?
Every country has laws, same as we have laws. Some arcane, but most known by all. And (supposedly) to be abided by. If not, we also have certain penalties that sometimes seem harsh, to some. Regardless of the laws, regardless of the penalties, if you know you are breaking them/one, expect to pay the price. Regardless of being male or female. In some countries, the penalties are written in stone. No deals. No pleas. No gender leniency.
Yes, I'm sure by our standards what she did/said was very trivial, perhaps laughable, but, she did not do it here. Sorry for her.
I have the problem of seeing people executed in the U.S.. BUT, only from the standpoint they were on death row for 35 years waiting. That's a whole 'nother lifetime. Not right.
Is our legal system better than theirs????
Eguller Oversimplification of what happened. Always enjoy reading about those folks who think their western-like freedoms extend no matter where they are. This lady has challenged the Saudi way of life and apparently knew the "Kingdom" was unhappy with her activities and yet still traveled back to Saudi and is shocked she was arrested for breaking their laws.
I dislike all hypocrisy and US policies with Saudi is hard to defend (I have flown defending SA in support of US policies), but can't defend the PGA Tour either. I try to be consistent in my support via my dollars. If I knew where Saudi oil went, I would avoid it, as I did with CITGO way back when.
Bravopilot what happened
Trying figure that out, there appears to be a lack of info as to what she actually said/posted.
She has not "disappeared" yet so there is some hope for her. Interesting that the travel ban is same length as prison sentence....certainly seems like there is some indication they feel she may get out earlier then what's been "ordered".

Returning to the Kingdom - when you know they are displeased with you is a head-scratcher ⌠unless your intent all along was to set yourself up as some type of martyr. She openly supported dissidents (most notably her own sister), and her still active twitter account has the pinned message âFreedom for prisoners of conscience and all the oppressed of the worldâ. Kind of makes me think she is getting what she sought - most notably the global attention.
