Walterjn good to hear that Spieth didn't choke, and that he was beaten fair.

Spieth had a 2 stroke lead late. He missed a 3 foot putt and made bogey on 17. It was a "mini choke". Hoge birdied 16 and 17 to overtake.

I’m an influencer, I got a woman at indoor golf to hit her 7 wood instead of 5 hybrid.

I quit watching when jorge lopes had anything to do with it.

Tinker I think the Branagh two Poirot movies would be considered to be filled with current stars. I'm almost an old fogie and I know pretty much all them.

Walterjn how'd that work for her

She was all excited. She was complaining the 5 hybrid goes nowhere. I told her she'd get the height and the distance she wanted. It worked.

I can't remember the last time I had the free time to watch golf. Had to be 10 years ago at least.

I watched some of it although it was really just on in the background while I was putting up some shelves and cleaning up. I love seeing the views at Pebble. I seem to remember enjoying watching it more years ago, but it doesn't really interest me now.

It sounds like it was more of an event back in the days of Crosby, Hope, etc. I think someone recently said something to the effect that there isn't really "royalty" and glamour in Hollywood any more and maybe this event is a sign of that. I don't really mind seeing a rapper or country musician I've never heard of playing golf, but I don't even enjoy watching Bill Murray out there now.

bad9 I have a brit channel on my cable called Acorn and I watch the Poirot tv series I guess they made in UK. Your right in that’s as star heavy as movies get nowadays. Odd that most of the big name male stars are British. You can count the American guys on one hand.

Sneakylong Would it have been legal to have his caddie lay on the ground near him (not in alignment) ready to grab his leg if he started going over the edge? I'm afraid of heights, but competitive so I would have had my caddy ready lol.

It seemed like back then the movie stars and sports figures all wanted to win as well, not just be there to make an appearance like some now days.
