toraider I have 3 buddies that were fitted (3 different fitters) into AMT Red R300 with their irons. One is playing Miura CB? (14 cap), another Titleist T300 (22 cap) and another Mizuno JPX? (16 cap).
Miura player: Long backswing that gets quick (like me). Probably mid release like me. We hit similar distances. I can hit my irons higher, but we have similar distances. On good days we hit 8i 150 and on average days it's 7i. I feel like he gained some shot height over his old Cally irons with these. He did break 2 shafts pretty easily when he first got set, but none since. He really loves these irons and he definitely does better with them than his old off the shelf set. He went to a better fitter IMO....same one I did though so.,.....lol That said I would have put KBS or Nippon into Miuras!
Titleist player: Gets quick and VERY steep and tends to release early. He hits his hybrids pretty well, but not his irons. Shafts seem okay for him. He is as strong (or weak) as me and can hit it as long, but with early release he is at least a club shorter. He likes them and says my DG 105 R300 feel too stiff.
Mizuno player: Shorter flatter backswing with later release. Kind of traps all his irons low. The new irons seem to let him hit higher short iron shots than his old set. Not sure if that is the iron head, shaft or both. He's got 5-6 years on me and is losing some distance. Probably a club shorter even though his shots roll out. His flat swing seems built for the driver and fairways which he still hits really well.
I have DG 105 R300 in my P770s and like it. Prior to that I had Recoil 110 F4 in Apex Pro 16. I have tried all of their irons, but just a few shots so not sure what my comments are worth. The AMT Red feels softer in the tip to me. Not my cup of tea, but I could play it. I haven't hit a Dynalite in ages, but I am reminded of that. It's hard for me to judge as I have extra weight in my irons and these guys do not so all their clubs feel too light to me.
Not sure if this helps. Feel free to ask any questions.
