Tinker All the eBay listing say the adapter works on a lot of heads. Is the adapter stripped?

I think I’d just start over with a whole new adapter etc…or like I said earlier, take the whole thing to a hardware store and find one that works and buy it. I did that when I needed a screw to go in the adapter when I needed to pull off an adapter

That’s my next move. I don’t care if the star head matches, as long as I can get a length and head diamater match.

LBlack14 yep, adapter is the same, sounds like screw is different, but it should still screw in. Probably a good thing in this case it didn't as that extra length could back out the inner thread of the adapter after fully seated.

I have an sdapter for a Cobra S2 if that would fit? LB is pretty knowledgeable about older Cobra drivers

garyt1957 The S2 used the AFT adapter. Their adjustables used that up through the original "Amp". The Amp Cell used the 1 and done original My Fly. After that, I believe they're all the same, with the exception of the markings and maybe the screw head size in the last version. I had an F9, but don't remember it being any different or a different wrench size.

Got ahold of a guy at Cobra and he was super. Knew exactly what I was talking about and is sending me the proper screw free of charge.

Sarnella I’m not a fan of adjustable but if you want something new you don’t have much choice

I think, even though some Cobra adapters look the same, the cogs are spaced differently. I've got a drawer full of adapters, but no longer own any Cobra heads. I do see 1 short screw in a bag though.

Par4QC Yeah, cobra adapters seem to be a shit show. I think you’re right about the spacing on the teeth. We have a Biocell head at work and the adapter on that also fit the F9…. Haven’t checked it in a Rad speed.

Krank is a mirror image of the opti fit with 3 cogs to adjust! 😱

colej I do think Titleist has one with 653 cogs also.

My Krank adapter ended up being stripped. It’s hard to get it screwed in, it will click and feels fine, but then after a couple hits it gets loose and turns a bit.

Does it have an "o" ring on it? Besides keeping the screw from falling out the o ring also serves as a lock washer to keep the screw from loosening during use.
