SMT And, here we go.....
ONE Original post on faces that were not flat. **Completely Legit post. As soon as I was alerted to it, I responded with the number of where you should call to get the issue remedied.**
ONE call of Inexcusable. **Absolutely correct.**
ONE mention of "things got worse". **Same post, we get it, bad is bad, gave you the number of where to fix your problem. At this point, the horse is dead**
ONE "It appears goo filled" **Really? How? Why? anything leaking out of it? or just a need to post something that you feel? I mean, nothing on the planet leads you to believe this is the case.**
THREE laughing about bulge and roll. **"funny" I guess, but actually there was at least one iron head built with bulge and roll. Actually, I don't know why more aren't. "I'm sure that those that "know more than me" will chime in. **
ONE wondering aloud in welding faces to bodies could warp them. **Umm, yes. It absolutely could. Welding, for those of you that are evidently, WELDERS that I have come to learn, builds HEAT. HEAT can, indeed warp metal. But, heck you already knew that. But it was fun typing it the first time I bet. Since we are on this topic, just in case it comes up, CNC milling of titanium FACES, and I did say FACES of woods also builds heat. That also increases the opportunity for warping and eventual structural damage. But I'm quite sure that the original poster knew that.**
THREE stating the heads are injected. **Simply stupid. I don't know where to go with this other than, this is why I hate to reply to idiocy.**
TWO stating the heads are NOT injected. **Thank you guys. I appreciate you**
ONE saying that the website is "unclear" as to if they are injected. **Really? I mean... really? Unclear? It also didn't say that they were made in a remote part of Area 51 in Nevada. Perhaps THAT is something to think about**
ONE off topic stating that Wishon irons are not goo filled. **Interesting. Neither is my top left dresser drawer**
ONE saying that is why they don't buy from Diamond Tour **Here is a bit of reality on this post. Diamond Tour, Sub 70 and SMT Golf all use different factories but all head leave the same warehouse in SYCAMORE Illinois. I am in Oswego Illinois roughly 1 hour east of Sycamore. I'll play the Final Jeopardy music while that last part sinks in.**
ONE calling to cut one open. **It was done, what did you learn? Oh, I remember now... read on**
ONE saying, "you get what you pay for". **Evidently believing that they are inexpensive**
ONE arguing, "AT THAT PRICE!" **Oops, sorry, now they are rather expensive**
ONE Saying that loft is affected..." **Yes, indeed it would be. Again, completely fair argument**
TWO asking for me to chime in, even though I gave a phone number and point of contact to remedy the situation. **So I could chase the 40 snakes that were poured out of the bag and onto the floor of the forum? (yet, here I am) Such a wonderful offer. Yet when I post MY toll free number, none of the keyboard heroes calls me to chat. Not one. So, nobody really wants to TALK to what someone that you believe that you want to talk to at all. You all want to talk to each other. **
ONE comfortable with 1 degree variance on lofts and 3 grams in weights. Think about that for a moment. **A "clubmaker" imposes these limits..... a "clubmaker". Forget about the fact that the average player in the States shots well above 100. TWO degrees of variance would booger things up beyond repair. **
ONE stating that "he thinks they can do a hollow head mold" **Well, as long as you "think" it, it must be true.**
NINE bemoaning the need for a plug if it is not filled. **NINE of you said this... 9 of you. Anyone of these nine people take the same swipe at, I don't know, PXG irons? **
ONE calling it stupid. **That's intelligent. Glad I responded to this one**
ONE stating it will rattle without evidence. **Another great post, you wonder why I will not reply to the shots I will take for this reply either? You know the ones.... "The customer is always right, etc."**
ONE stating it is/should be a TUNGSTEN weight screw... **What, I mean... WHAT? Sorry, I mean, WHY? Do you know what tungsten even is? Do you know what it does? How do I respond to this intelligently, ONLY ONE TIME? **
ONE sharing that "the face is not as thin as he thought it would be" **Well, there's that**
ONE going on to say that after cutting it "it was a very soft hosel and should be easily bendable" **And THAT**
ONE stating.. and here it is.... "head is a fairly good grade of steel, was not easy to cut" ![Giphy - Tired Give Up GIF by TV Land](https://media0.giphy.com/media/S8aBkVT7t7xBtDQPfa/giphy.gif?cid=15c04d7fmnawp2083bcdjyhnu79btsvufw3froootnx647wt&rid=giphy.gif&ct=g)
ONE is simply Chuckie Brownmoose. **Who even cares?**
Love the forum, I really do.
I just don't have the time to chase down these 40 snakes to cut the heads off.
I hope you understand.
There was an issue. I absolutely acknowledged that and in case the original poster forgot where he purchased the heads I provided that info to expedite his return of the product.
As for the rest of this stuff. you have to be kidding me. If it's not worth YOUR time to call and chat with me, why is it not worth my time, times 40 to keep responding to the stuff you guys clearly just make up on this forum?
Oh..... and for the post above where I sold off the SMT name...
Where do you get this shit from?
