Typhoon I was wondering what he used. The Tiger stepping thing using an 8 iron is something I’d do vs. wedge shafts. I always had good luck with set shafts in my wedges… the days before wedge flex… like in the Ping eye2. Never had a problem like people do now with wedge flex… too many choices… too much overthinking.
Par4QC Typhoon I don't care what shafts are in my irons, my SW will always have an S flex. I probably got some wedge flex shafts here, may even be 1 in that SW. But they are stiff so all is good.
Sparky Ugh, no thanks. I used to hit a SW 100-105 yds. Now I am looking at 85 yds, and it really pisses me off when it spins back 10 yards.
darpar "Spinner" shafts have been around a long time. https://www.truetempersports.com/en-us/golf/golf/steel-iron-shafts/dynamic-gold-steel-shafts/dynamic-gold-spinner.html They won't help much though if you keep coming up 5 yds short of the pin!😁
azgreg darpar "Spinner" shafts have been around a long time. They won't help much though if you keep coming up 5 yds short of the pin!😁 Guys I play with: "I wish I had more spin on my wedges". Me: "How often do you land the ball past the pin?" Guys I play golf with: "Never." Me: ".........."
Typhoon DonM If you play for fun and don’t mind if it’s conforming, The Felon 2.0 wedges on DTG look nice.
Par4QC azgreg I have the CNC Spin, DG-15, which I think are no longer available. Also have the new ones, Inazone CNC Spin, but have never hit them. That 'Mist' looks like it has just a run-of-the mill sole on it. Should be a $5 head.
Typhoon colej I just read it… what if I don’t want more spin on my “shirt”. One of my bugaboos… never buy anything from anyone who can’t spell or doesn’t take the time to proofread.
