Of any of the OEM non offset drivers out there the Ping SFT’s will have the most left bias. The G425 SFT has the most left bias of any of the previous models.
Ping didn’t move the weight anymore towards the heel, they just added more weight. Yesterday I witnessed just how well they work.
My buddy went from a big fade / slice to a nice little draw. Huge difference.
If you slice you have an open face. Fix that first. Usually once that is fixed you’re path will work itself out.
If you have an adjustable driver put it in the highest loft. This closes the face.
Also, try strengthening your left hand grip as strong as you can. 4 knuckles showing. Leave your right hand neutral. Take the club back closed.
But again, not all left bias drivers are the same. My buddy’s previous driver was a TM Sim Max Draw. He hit that to the right.
If you don’t want to change your grip or get a Ping SFT, then you need to start crossing your right hand / wrist / forearm over your left much, much sooner in the downswing. Because your face is wide open.
Also, with a neutral left hand grip (~ 2 1/2 knuckles) make sure your left wrist is not in extension (cupped) at the top. It has to be flat or in flexion (bowed). With a very strong left hand, you don't have to worry about it being cupped.
And by wide open it only has to be a couple of degrees open for it to go right. Unless your path is closed to the face. Then it will draw. But that doesn’t sound like that’s the case.
