Which Face Balanced Mallet Putter

Need some recommendations, advice and/or suggestions on the best face balanced mallet putter.
Want to go back to this type of putter because it seems that is when my crappy putting seemed to be at its' best.
I tend to have trouble with alignment and accuracy, not so much distance control.
So.......... which face balanced mallet putter have my esteemed colleagues here found to be worthy of putting in their bag.

HackerTed Ted, I think I have a couple old school, black, Rife 2 bar mallets. May have some others, but will have to check.

How about something that is long front to back, with a line on it?

I have one that is long front-to-back like that, but is even longer, the Mentorsports Quadra II putter (no longer made, but likely still available) which has a single line and you can see when the line is wiggling as you bring the putter back. It is obvious and you can work on fixing it if that is your issue.

Forget face balanced. Doesn't do anything, imo.
Check out lle-angle balanced putters (LAB putters) if you really want to make an improvement in your putting via equipment alone.
There are videos that demonstrate what they do.

Those almost swing themselves, but they have a horrible alignment feature IMO. Easiest putter to stroke, but the lack of sightline made it a big NO for me. Wish they could make a version that doesn't look like a bottle opener lol.

Per rsvman2’s suggestion, I’ve got a LAB Directed Force Reno if interested. They take up allot of room in the bag but they do fix allot of problems.

Just watch the videos and practice what they preach to get out of the tendency of fighting the putter.

Does the toe hang of this putter depend upon the hosel & type of shaft used ? What is the feel like ?

If you’re on a budget and can stand looking at it, most mallets are a bit ugly anyway, I’d suggest the original Scotty Cameron Futura. I had one and loved it. Got rid of it because I didn’t need a lot of putters around. Wish I kept that one.

This one has sight lines.

They have many sight line options and now have three different head styles. The one pictured, a blade and a newer one that just came out. It has limited availability at the moment but looks good.

Cwing Yeah to my eye that's not much of a sightline. I tried one multiple times at my fitter and couldn't even make putts on the indoor mat. I did better with pretty much every other putter in his shop lol.

Didn’t come with paint fill. I used a little white to try and stop the glare. The sight line is engraved and silver in color. Paint fill can be removed.

That explains it. It wasn't a professional doing it, it was a normal person. I tried doing it one time and it sucked compared to people that know how to do it (and with the correct paint and such).

They can also do custom sight lines if you request it.

Recently picked up an Odyssey Stroke Lab Ten putter, results have been very positive. Alignment was an issue I had and the big pitter seems to have helped

Got a new (back up to my bagged one) STX 2 5.5 series mallet putter, center shafted with the black soft face insert. All original grip/head cover etc. 34" length. $75 shipped. SWEET!

These putters can take more than a minute or two to adjust to.
