backinit I just picked up 2 different Exotics 4 woods. They are both old (hyper steel and CB3) but long and not draw biased which is a plus for me.
colej ode My buddy has the driver that’s in Darpars picture above. It’s a solid club that he hits really well. He also bought the 4 wood and the E721 irons. He’s played some really good golf with these clubs this year.
colej ode That was my thought as well. Very limited shaft options. Driver and 4 wood he went with the smoke black.
Eguller garyt1957 Their earlier fw woods are legendary. Hard to believe they went downhill from there. True dat. Consensus is that they have not gone the way of many others not to be mentioned. 🤔
JeffTilley brownmoose13 My guess would be the CB1 and CB2 models. The newer CBX versions are rocket launchers, but the EXS I thought were kinda meh.
sdandrea1 I hit the OP subject club today on several holes. I am apparently completely spoiled by the XXIO. Nothing feels right now except the XXIO.
Eguller sdandrea1 Nothing feels right now except the XXIO. Was it the shaft ? or combo ? That GD AD is an OEM made for Exotics shaft.
sdandrea1 Eguller Was it the shaft ? or combo ? That GD AD is an OEM made for Exotics shaft. Overall club weight. Everything feels like an anvil. The XXIO Prime driver total weight is 253g.
braveheart TEE makes awesome fairway woods. They are as hot or long as anything else put out by anybody else. I have used a cb1, cb2 and xcg 3 wood in the past. Would still be using the xcg 3 wood but I’m recently converted to a low lofted hybrid.
backinit I hit my new (to me) CB3 4 wood last weekend on a shortish par 4. In 50 degree temps I was closer to the green than I've ever been with a 4 wood. I guess it's something to look forward to.
