Push/Pull Carts

Are absolutely awesome! I have been a carry guy forever. However, by the last few holes on tough courses, I am completely worn and my back is sore. I pulled my back earlier this week and played Bethpage Black today, so I borrowed a push cart, since I knew I couldn’t carry. Between the push cart, Advil and Icy Hot, I felt better coming up the 18th than I have in years.

I remember coming to that realization many years ago! I suppose I was in my 50's, but had been plagued by a bad back for several years. My chiropractor suggested that I try a pull cart. I resisted for a while b/c I didn't think it looked cool, but now I notice that even college teams are using them (I understand that some coaches require them!)
I'm 76 now, and still walking (and pushing now rather than pulling) when I play...!!

I' be been looking for one. There is nothing new locally, so I have been looking (hopefully) for a used clicgear/sun mountain and new not 100% sure, but caddytek seems nice.

Been pushing for ~ 15 years.....started out with a 3 wheel from Dunham's (JP Lann??). Served its purpose, then I got the clicgear3.0 and it's been trucking for 10 years. Still on my first set of wheels that need to be replaced. 1000+ rounds on it!

I've been using a Hillbilly USA electric golf trolley for over 20 years. Love it.

In that time, I've learned to be a H-Billy mechanic when needed. 😉

It goes: Walk/carry full bag -> walk/carry smaller bag -> push/pull cart -> electric pull cart -> cart -> .............

I know NOTHING about how those work.....do you set a dial for the approximate yardage you want it to go
to your ball, or do you have a remote control? Can you regulate speed? Has yours ever tipped while in motion and dumped your clubs all over the place? I'm getting to the age where something like this is a possibility....I want to
keep walking!!

You can control the speed as fast or slow to match your walking speed. There are even remote control
ones - not mine... Newer ones move 30/60/90 ft. with the push of a button. I've hardly ever tipped
my over. Easy to fix if you are mechanical at all. Lithium Ion batteries last 5-7 years and are light as
a feather. That said, I may pick up a Sunday bag for the Winter - just because. LOL.

As best as I can figure I bought and have been using my Bagboy Express GX since 2004. I did replace the original pneumatic tires with airless foam ones about 10yrs ago and the bearings went on one of the originals.
