I watched a 2nd Swing video where they tested P790 against P7MB (forged blade), loft for loft at 31 and 35 degrees. At 35 the numbers were almost identical. In the 31s, the 790 was a lot longer than the blade. Their testing guy is a high swing speed player.
So this goes with the idea that at higher lofts, the spring faces don’t contribute much in the way of distance.
