I bought a new AMC Hornet Hatchback, 1973. I left teaching in 1978. Got into Computer Science and Production/Inventory control and ultimately became a Federal Civil servant in 1994.

Dufferman I'm not quite as old as some of you, but I do remember having to go out and spin the directional antennae to make one or the other of our available tv stations to come in better. We got CBS and NBC. Also remember trying to check out hotties on the internet with a dial up connection and a monitor that only displayed images kind of like Minecraft! Everything was basically automatically censored!
