Ours went up 10 cents last week and another 10 cents this week. Now $3.55 a gallon. Thanks _ _ _! Come on man, this is getting ridiculous!

I can get it about .15 cheaper at Costco, but I rarely fuel up there because I've noticed that I lose about 2 mpg using their fuel. I have a few friends who've experienced the same with Costco. I don't think it's the greatest quality fuel they sell.

But people don't care. The lines at the fuel pumps there are backed up into the parking lot pretty much from open to close. I'm not going to wait 20 minutes to fuel up to save a couple bucks.

Interesting observation.

At least Costco contains detergent additives. Kroger gas does not or at least they can't guarantee it or can't advertise it has additives.

After a couple of Kroger fill-ups, I go to a station with detergent additives. I may not help or make a difference, but I feel better.

$3.44 yesterday at the station I usually fill up at. Costco would be cheaper but a lot less convenient.

That price is up about $0.29 from last week. Since retiring, I only fill up about once per month, so that's only about $4.00 extra/month.

$3.39 today at COSTCO. Up 10 cents in a week. The big price difference in my area, near me, is now over $4. I will go out my way (slightly) now for COSTCO gas, happy for telecommuting.

Not sure. I don't think so, because the up to 10% ethanol sticker is at just about every gas pump there and elsewhere.

This is nuts. Over the weekend it went in one day from $3.51 to $3.67. Today it was $3.67 when I took Nick to the airport and then later in the day going to work it was $3.77. What pisses me off the most is I think the price should only go up when they get a delivery... not " mid tank"... am I right??

I might start a thread on how this and everything else over the past 2 years has affected everyone's shit.

Local has been going up daily this week. At $3.89 when I turned the corner heading to Iowa this a.m. so filled up over there, $3.69, which is outrageously high for that area. Later in the afternoon, we were seeing $3.99 over there at different places, still $3.89 when I got home a bit ago. Toyota rules! Even the 6 cyl.
