Walterjn Always interesting to me to understand how Fed/State?Counties/Cities tax the gas. VA stopped by the gallon and went to a total sales tax as cars were more efficient. Must be something there additional though.
Virginia, in general, has either cities or counties. They do not overlap. No cities in counties for the most part. I'm in the largest county in VA, Fairfax. Neighboring county, Prince William, the gas is typical $.10+/Gallon cheaper. I work near the Pentagon (can't hold all the people) referred to as Crystal City but in Arlington County, gas there is always $.20+ higher than Fairfax. Arlington County taxes are higher than Fairfax, but when VA went to a sales tax for gas, shouldn't be this way.
Always thought Vegas was relatively cheaper on all things, not the give-aways it once was, but cheaper.
