Not a fan of Pete Carroll, who left a college program in shambles while he went chasing the big bucks at the next level. Dirty coach who doesn't care about how he wins, as long as he wins. And then enters Richard Sherman, who couldn't play clean if you steam cleaned him and scrubbed him with bleach and a wire brush before every game.

"Hey, it's football! Nothing like what it used to be like!" Yeah - I know. And some people have figured out how to play great pro football and maintain some means of respectable class. Not everyone is relying on what they can get away with to help prop up their career stats.

Sherman is a snake, and Carroll is a shitweasel. Not sure how a decent guy like Russell Wilson ended up on that team!

You think we're still in the age of Hatfield–McCoy feud ? They can lower themselves to the same level as they despise, if they want but almost everyone in the NFL is doing similar to protect their own interests. Almost everyone tried their best to "gets the job done" when it's so physically competitive. It's a mini war and each time on the field is a battle. To satisfied the fan's thirst for the gladiator's arena action.
Play dirty ? It happens in every game.

    He has become a lot less relevant on the field with his play falling off some, still good, but not the man like years past...I suspect some of these hits our out of frustration for getting beat down the field.

    It would not break my heart if someone blind sided this fool, but it's good enough seeing hilites of guys beating him down the field and making plays.

    I just love those people call in the violation of golf rules after watching the televised event with zoned in frames.

    Someone got hurt on the field ? I see every team had injury all the time. If someone does not want to be hit hard, don't play the game at this level. In other words , get out of the kitchen if you can;t stand the heat.
    Seahawks got a long list of injury of their own.

    If the other team was within 10 yards to goal and pushing pass many blocks, I'd give it everything I have to stop the player and make sure I get the job done. It's so stupid to say oh that hit was too harsh and wasn't even counted. If I were the coach, I'd tell them to get the job done before the play ended.
    Why wouldn't Goff stop the run if the play was called off ? Silly to think the other team will allow the touch down then to find out which side was called.

    Sherman got the hate because of his big mouth, yes, but he got the attention. Love or hate. He did backed up his mouth by his action in the last few years. Injury had slowed him down a bit and when the pay check matched the talent one would seek to protect future. Don;t think he will slow down, especially in the play off season.
    That's what they are paid to do and he does a good job.

    There are many others play much dirtier than Sherman ( just did not have a mouth to match Sherman's )and worse on top of that, their coaching staff promote it.

              It's not a difficult concept to understand, nor is it worth debating. Sherman's knees deserve to be taken out with a nasty deliberate chop block and I would enjoy seeing that happen.

                  What exactly did he do wrong. Looks like a clean hard hit. The NFL is not flag football. Running quarterbacks have the life expectancy of dogs that chase cars especially those that don't have enough brains to slide when the game is unwinnable and almost over .

                    Yes there is dirty play in many games, but Sherman runs his mouth too much, so I am NOT a fan. Same with Josh Norman.

                        Yap, a lot of us were offended by the seemingly arrogant mouthing off he did. but hey, look back not too long ago someone used to be controversial yet we had learned to love, Muhammad Ali. Now that was a mouth one will never forget. My dad used to be amused by Ali's flaming off on the media. history proved he was smarter than most in his time gave him credit for.

                            I am not an advocate of purposely going after a player with intent of injury. That's just bad sportsmanship. I am old school when it comes to sportsmanship, so I miss the old days of basketball players raising their hand when called with a foul. Same as when defensive NFL secondary players committ pass interference and then vehemently deny it in the refs face. Don't like all the celebrating after a successful sack, or big hit. Those guys are paid to perform......act like a professional......and stop blowing your own horn.

                              There is always the risk of a season/career injury, BUT 99% of the time when that happens it is not intentional.

                              We are talking more specifically about INTENTIONALLY TRYING TO INJURE ANOTHER PLAYER. Sherman has done that twice just in the past month, and as a result I personally feel that he doesn't deserve his kneecaps. It seems you're having a difficult time following along here.

                              Hard hits are a part of the game. Cheap shots that level a defenseless player, or targeting a player to injure him - there is no excusing that. This has nothing to do with hard. It has everything to do with intent.
