You have to look at proximity to the hole. Go online and check the stats… it’s eye opening… you will see they don’t hit everything close like you see on TV. The problem with TV is they show mostly all the good shots, good putts. If you only watch them on tv you think they never hit a bad shot.
It’s all about minimizing your mistakes. If you follow someone at a tournament you’ll see they hit a ton of crooked shots. They just don’t miss huge so they get it up and down worst case. Short game is huge. Without caddies on the greens… they’d putt like us.
