Bengals had to lose out to both the Bills and Ravens for Ravens to win the division. NFL took care of the Ravens. They gave them a chance to play at home if they beat Bengals. Bengals will be North champs regardless of outcome but could potentially lose home field in playoff game. and will receive lower draft pick and harder schedule in ‘23.
In short, Bengals win division but my not get the advantage of being the North Champions (home field). Bengals would get a worse draft pick (by draft order) and a harder schedule for ‘23.
If the Bengals won out vs Bills and Ravens, the Bengals could have been the #1 seed with a KC loss as Bengals beat KC head to head and would have also had the head to head vs Buffalo.
