I don't have a dog in the hunt, because I neither like nor dislike the Vikings. Is it not true, though, that Cousins has tended to have better stats during the regular season than he has during the playoffs? Are you arguing that?
I mean, I suppose the counterargument would be that the competition gets tougher in the playoffs, so presumably defenses get tougher in the playoffs, too, so one might expect a quarterback to be less efficient in the playoffs. I think that is true, but I am guessing that the disparity between regular season and playoff stats is probably higher for Cousins than for most quarterbacks. And then, of course, there are those rare quarterbacks thinker stay just as good or even get better during the playoffs. Surely we can all agree that Cousins has not yet shown himself to be one of them.
