Sneakylong Divisional Playoff Weekend. Should be some good games.
Agreed. I'll get to watch "objectively" with no horse in the race. My picks:
I'll take Denver - simply because of their defense. More than likely Josh Allen will keep the Bills in the game but just like his errant throw to a wide open receiver against the Eagles, believe he'll come up short again.
I would anticipate the Seahawks destroying the Niner's. The Niner's certainly played with an admirable effort - on both sides of the ball beating Philly. This time, I think they'll run out of gas. They just have too many injuries to overcome.
Houston at New England intrigues me because on paper the Pats are a more complete team but the Texans have a defense that can be suffocating. (And unlike JRamers, I absolutely believe that defense remains a critical element even in 2026.) I'll go with the underdogs in a surprise - one that Pats coach Vrabel will understand and appreciate.
Rams in Chicago?! This one's tough to pick as well. Teams with a dominating pass rush can hamper Stafford. Puka Nakua? That dude is just "sick"! The Bears haven't been "dominant" to my observations, they just manage to create turnovers, sometimes get their offense clicking and manage to win. I'm going with the more balanced team, taking the Rams.
