Bringing up the commish made me remember this from a bunch of years ago.

My wife and I went to her college roommates wedding in Ct. The groom’s father was a big guy for Time magazine, yada, yada… we’re in the church and who sits next to me but Pete Rozzele!! Then I see Frank Gifford getting seated, I don’t know who Kathie Lee was…. Wife did though. At the reception we’re watching the football game with Gifford, Rozzelle, Jack Whittaker….. it was like WTF.

I remember turning to my wife when Pete got seated and I’m like it’s the F’ing NFL commissioner!!!??? Where the fuck are we!!??

azgreg I've a great friend in Pittsburgh who is now going to be happy with that news. He's grown tired of their own level of mediocrity.

Pittsburgh needs a quarterback. Whoever goes there to coach will struggle. The problem with Tomlin is he was always good enough to get them to at least ~ 500, but never sucked enough to get a good quarterback in the draft.

I'm hesitant to do that. Their defense isn't that great quite honestly. What keeps them in games is their ability to create turnovers. However, I do like D'andre Swift. So maybe. But, I think as an NFC guy I might have to root for Seattle. Then again, I don't know about Sam Darnold. This just might be the Patriots year.
All this because head cheerleader keeps his job while the second of his two most recent internal hires have been fired. This while they allegedly and ineptly run "Sirianni's Offense" (the one as sophisticated as a high school team). Ugh...
