Yeah, Hurts was there with Mac Jones and Tua. All three made it in the NFL before Belichick ruined Jones at New England.
Having a good offensive coordinator is vital for most young QB’s. Jones was doing fine until Bill ‘s arrogance got in the way and named Matt Patricia (rocket scientist and defensive coordinator) offensive coordinator.
And as we saw with Purdy (49ers) going down Jones can still play if he has a good coaching staff. Anyway, we can’t discount the change in Philly with offensive coordinator.
Brady was one of the few who had multiple offensive coordinators over his career and never missed a beat.
