But she is a female.
Just keeps harping on about something no one can do anything about, several days later.

Wonder if she even thought about those missed extra points by the Bills? 2 points could have been on the board and would have changed the scenario for KC scoring later. OT opp was perhaps missed.

It's a shame a SB can't end in a tie. I hope there's a huge call in the game and it goes the Eagles way. That will be as fun if it went KC's way.

You know the NFL is aware of the perception. They were after the Texans game but it went to another level after Buffalo.

Not a crazy thought to have the league tell officials that if it's a tie goes to the runner situation call it in favor of Philadelphia. In the case of close calls the possession arrow is pointing toward the Eagles.

But, I think everyone(I know I do) would want that/those officials to walk out the door, if told to do so.
I would walk, even if it was a $1M payday.

Those officials are not just some 'common Joes'. They have reputations off the field, in their fields. Their friends and family know they called them like they saw them. and that is all that should matter to them. All outside that is just....noise.

I don't know about that. Money changes a lot of minds and challenges even the strongest morality.

It woud be nice believing you couldn't get to these guys. It isn't just money. NFL could say you're going to do this or you're not officiatin. Many things could be used to coerce an official into certain calls.

And that would be OK. They are on salary and get paid the whole season. They get extra pay for working games. They do have a Union.(collective bargaining at least) So there is protection.
Would the NFL really want to fire an official? He'd be rich, either way....paid off or after he exposes them.
Of course, he could have an accident on the way home. Billion dollar industry and all.

I don't know enough about football to know if there is any attempts at fixing going on. I do know that it is possible because it has prevailed in boxing seemingly forever. Mobsters, and probably now cartels, are known to have gotten to judges and participants with payoffs and threats to family and the results are sometimes extremely obvious in the way a fighter goes down or how the scoring is blatantly wrong. I can't tell if it happens with football officiating, but do agree with some that replays should be looked at objectively and without consideration for the call that was made on the field. It wouldn't matter if fixing is involved, but if it's just a human factor for a game that can't be viewed with great precision and played at great speed it could get things corrected at a higher level.
