Right? "Safe space"? Safe from what? Safe from "personal attacks"? Let's start at the beginning.
I questioned someone's understanding of the intrinsic parts of the game; those not measurable. That individual then offers his differing and more kindly contentious point. And yes, even "safe" Martin threw his "again..." at me because I'm responsible for misunderstanding his write-up. Okay... Then I take issue with that. My point still remains and it's unchanged. But I was "unsafe".
Let's move on to Par4QC. He and I disagree and miscommunicate about that disagreement. He gets to take his shots although, I didn't feel "unsafe". But he can unload too. Here and again, despite the misunderstanding, the miscommunication, the interpretation or misinterpretation and I still stand by the disagreement in opinion with him. I become "unsafe" again but only when I unload, act like "a cunt" - I'm the "jackass". Those two members, not even engaged in the disagreements, they, from the peanut gallery unload but, their "unsafe" personal attacks are acceptable.
Then, I chill. The Eagles game comes and goes. I return to the board. I don't offer an opinion albeit within my use of quotes from ESPN and from a player; the one the differing opinions were about. For me, the proofs in the pudding. What happened in the game? Who did what?
