ode Elway was a great QB and well deserving of the HOF. But the fact is, his team lost their first three attempts at the Super Bowl and weren't really in the games for the most part. In the end, with massive help from TD, he got his two. And Elway definitely did his part and more.
I just think Eli gets slighted when in fact he had some very weak offensive teams around him at times and took a lot of chances as a result. He had a win or go home attitude and didn't care whether they lost by one point or twenty points. When he had good players like Shockey, Burress, and O.J. Anderson on the offense he did very well, and obviously they had some standout defenders. Elway had some weak one's as well, but he ended up playing with 4 other hall of famers on his teams and I think Strahan was the only Giant during the Eli years.
