I just love seeing these star wide receivers. They get open and they catch the ball. Or they are double teamed and they still catch the ball. As a Bears fan, this is an intriguing idea.

DonM The Bears quite possibly have had the best receivers the NFL has ever seen.

It can never be proven/disproven because they never had a QB that could throw. In the right direction. At the right time. Accurately.

I was really sad that Anthony Miller didn't work out. While here at the University of Memphis he was a superstar and looked like he had everything to become a great pro. Kind of figured Alshon Jeffery would be an all time great.

But that hit was not a 'hit'. It was a flop. Bad NBA style flop.

It's one metric but, there have to be others that would be a major variable to consider. For example, I'd rather 'my' QB take a sack than throw an interception. Off-hand I believe both Dak and Rodgers had high interceptions this season. I know there are Bengals fans that would say Mahomes is going to the Super Bowl because of the Zebras.

And we know just how much BS that is. No more than other teams got, on balance, I'm sure. 19 games.....that's a long haul for favoritism, esp. when in other stadiums. 1 game a season does not make.

Losers got to find something to cleave to. Always. It was not interceptions. It was not 4 sacks in the 1st half. It was not an ignorant foul.
It was the refs, and bad calls against only the visiting team._

Par4QC Word earlier today was that Lance might be Tennessee bound if things work out the way some think. I'm not sure what to think of that. I think it is safe to start thinking of moving on from Tannehill. He's good, but isn't going to get any better. However, I don't know if Lance has any more potential than the current Titan's backup Willis has. A bit taller I guess.

That would be the perfect fit. The 49ers are ready to win now. Just need a QB that doesn’t get hurt. Brady hardly ever misses a game due to injury. He missed most of one season (2008) with a knee injury.

Then he missed 4 games due to something about air pressure in footballs. 🙄 Jimmy G. gets hurt a lot. Trey Lance is unproven and hurt. And now Purdy is hurt.

They could keep both Lance and Purdy. Let Jimmy G. and his salary go. Sign Brady and you’re off to the races.

49ers GM John Lynch inquired about getting Brady from the Patriots a few years ago. Belichick wanted to do the trade and keep Jimmy G.. But Patriots owner Bob Kraft nixed it. Jimmy G. went to the 49ers instead.

And the rest is history.
