braveheart I think Brady stays put in Tampa Bay. At 45, he still possesses a good arm (should be falling off after this season) and smarts like no other. Get him some sort of a running game, a slot receiver who knows how to run routes with a steady offensive line and he will light it up again and again. Easier to defense a one dimensional attack, which the Bucs had become.
His kids and life are on the east coast. So he either remains where he is or packs it in is my thought. What happened in this past game will not tarnish his spectacular play and legacy. Something special.
Staying with Tampa would be the long odds. If you saw his post game presser he basically said thanks to the fans and the media. Sounded like a goodbye. But anything is possible.
Brady has the house in Miami and I've heard Gisselle bought one right nearby for the kids to be close. He was going to Miami this season and Miami would still be a top option should they want to move off Tua. Miami has Tyreek Hill and James Waddle as well.
Agree with everything else you mentioned. His legacy is intact. Nothing changes that. People only remember Michael Jordan's Championship years with Chicago and don't necessarily remember his coming out of retirement with the Wizards at 38 years old.
But Brady won a Championship in Tampa and will always be remembered for that along with his great years in New England. Kyle Shanahan realizes he could've won a Super Bowl had he wanted Brady when Brady left New England.
San Fran is still Brady's first choice, but Brock Purdy's play is making that less likely. The NFC West is a cake walk for the 49ers. With the Raiders he would have to get by Mahomes and the Chiefs (tough task).
And of course maybe Brady chooses to retire. He did say he wanted to play until he was 45.
