DonM yes......I think the Cowboys are poised. Not sure what to think about SF/Giants🤔 .... Can the Jags make it interesting....a lil ball control would IMO!....and Cinci/Buff, that's an early Super Bowl like game!

ode Bills (talkin' to you Josh Allen) have to cut down (eliminate??) the turnovers. Very tough to win when you're helping the other team beat you.

Question: I wonder if the Bills have screen passes in their playbook .... haven't seen one in a while

Sarnella I have never seen Dak look better.

Will he look that good against San Fran? If so, the Cowboys have a defense that could give the rookie QB a hard time.

True. I'm of the opinion that Dak is one of those people that tries hard to improve himself and that bad Dak isn't as common as he used to be. However, it has been fairly slow improvement over the years (vs a noticeably huge improvement from his sophomore year in college to his junior year) and I suspect he is at or near his ceiling now. Right now he needs to realize the extreme level of skill the offense around him has and focus more on minimizing mistakes and less on trying to force the action. I think he understands that, but it's hard not to want to be the man.

Ossenfort is a SW Minnesota guy. He went to high school in Luverne, MN. which is about 50 miles from me
(closer to Logical One than me) and his high school was in the same conference as ours when I went to high school.

They weren’t much better running the ball last year. Brady led the league in pass attempts and receptions this year.

They got away with it the last two years because the offensive line did a good job protecting him. Didn’t have that this year because of guys retiring, leaving for other teams and injuries.

If Brady decides to keep playing he needs to go where they have a good offensive line. Where they can run the ball and protect the pocket.

If he plays next year, I’m beginning to think Las Vegas is where he’ll end up. I think Miami will stick with Tua and San Fran will stick with Purdy.

But the Raiders line isn’t that good. Time will tell.

Bold prediction! I think TB12 ends up with the Jets. They are truly a competent QB away from being a darn good team.

I just can’t see him playing for the Jets. It would be a good fit though because all they need is a QB. And they have a good defense.

Brady and Gronk were supposed to go to the Raiders, but Gruden stopped it. Now with Josh McDaniels there I could see him and Gronk reuniting with McDaniels.

I don't see Brady going out like this. He's lost a bit but he can still play at a high level in the right situation. Nobody could have flourished in Tampa Bay this year.

Would tend to agree with one exception; the health/status of Dallas' offensive line.

It's not happening , and I'm quite happy with Goff, but I'd love to see what Brady could do in Detroit. Great OL and plenty of weapons at receiver and a good running game.

Washington doesn't really have a quarterback right now, at least not one that the ownership/Coach respects.

JMO,,,any team that goes after Brady is looking for a '1 and done' season, at his age. If they do not have the OL and receivers already signed, how much are they willing to spend for just 1 season? Plus, they need at least 1 really good running back. Not too sure he will be going anywhere except where he is now. IF, they got any money to get the help he needs. And he needs a lot.
A team that is rebuilding with not give him the time of day, as they should not.

Yeah, at 45 Brady needs help around him. That’s why he chose Tampa. They had weapons which the Patriots didn’t. In addition to Evans and Godwin he had them get Gronk and Antonio Brown. Already had a good defense.

And they won a Super Bowl. The days of Brady just needing a couple receivers from Dorchester and making household names out of them are gone.

I doubt very much he’s going back to Tampa. Again, he was going to Miami this season, but the Flores lawsuit ended that. So he retired for like 40 days and went back to the Bucs. And before that him and Gronk were going to the Raiders.

The Raiders do have a good running back in Jacobs and some good receivers in Adams who is great with Renfrow and Waller etc.. And you may see Gronk come back as well.

Most of the great QB’s retired because they couldn’t do it anymore. Either because of injury or age, the arm was gone. Brady can still throw.

Tampa lost too many pieces of the puzzle this year.

Edit: Ian Rapoport reporting Purdy and Brady among QB options next year in San Fran. 😯
