Obviously not the same team as the last two years. Still time to turn it around, but they show little sign of doing so. The whole NFC South is a dumpster fire. It seems to be a matter of who will suck the least.
They opened up the game last night and looked good. The offensive line looked better. They were able to run the ball and then it all stalled and went backwards. Looks like too many obstacles to overcome.
The offense has some excuses with the loss of Jensen, Marpet, Gronkowski, Brown etc.. But the defensive struggles are more puzzling. They can’t stop the run anymore.
Brady used to be able to make guys from Dorcester and Roxbury look like superstars. Lol
Now it’s a struggle to get the ball to an open receiver. Brady had an MVP like year last year. Huge drop off this year. Nothing seems to be working.
Brady and Leftwich got what they wanted sending Arians upstairs and getting Todd Bowles as head coach so they could run the offense. So, lots to look at as excuses, but it matters little as of now. They just stink.
I’d like to think some moves before the November 1st trade deadline would help. But where do you start? Huge disappointment this year. Hindsight being 20/20 Brady should’ve stayed retired. His legacy remains in tact. But even he has to have second thoughts.
