I would agree if they had Goff (can't believe I just typed that) but their offense is so anemic I don't see them scoring more than 10 points unless they get gifts through turnovers. I know Chicago is terrible also, and is Fields out?
Whatever happens, that game will spoil some appetites for turkey.

DonM Lions haven't won on Thanksgiving since the late 90s, maybe? A Lions loss is as much a part of Thanksgiving as pumpkin pie.
Oh, and they haven't win a single game this year, either.

Best bet in all of sports? Bet that whoever is attempting a field goal to beat the Lions will make it, even if it is the longest field goal attempt in nfl history and being kicked by the waterboy because the regular kicker is on IR, because that sucker is going right through the uprights no matter what.

DonM My love for the Bears turned to hatred, when they got rid of Trubisky. And I keep telling my wife, when Nagy is gone (after this season/during this season) Trubisky may well be back. The only bad money they spent, in his regards, was the keeping of Nagy's contract. Good QB, poor Coach! (yes, I realize Chicago is/always has been, a QB's death sentence)

I would love to see the Bears get blistered on Thurs. . In fact, I'll root for it to happen.

Lions won't score double digits. I think the Bears are better off with Dalton at QB. Have to see the line, but it's likely now or never for the Lions.

I think I've said it here before, the Lions are the greatest team ever! The greatest team at playing to the level of the competition, and just below it. If I were to bet on this game, it'd be Bears all the way.

They are imploding over the last 48 hours. Apparently Matt Nagy is already fired but they are having him coach Thursday. Who does that??????????????????

The Bears defense is decimated by injuries. Their second best cornerback is just awful. Even the no name Lions receivers should be able to out play him.

Assuming Goff plays: Lions 24, Bears 13.

All that said, unlike Rex, I will be rooting for the Bears. I just can't help myself.

Broncos fans might scoff at this, but I wouldn't bitch if the Bears hired Vic Fangio as HC. He's been dealt a crap hand in Denver. Or maybe I'm just out of town stupid because I haven't watched the Broncos and I don't know how his prep and game management is going.

But during his time in Chicago as DC, he was real highly thought of.
