Sneakylong garyt1957 Saw Tommy James along with Johnny Rivers at the Hampton Beach Casino (New Hampshire) in 1987.
garyt1957 Sneakylong Mony Mony is one of the greatest rock songs of all time. Sidenote: He came up with the name while writing the song in a hotel room and out his window was a sign for Mutual Of New York.
mulegolf Sneakylong Saw Tommy James My wife and I saw Tommy James in 1974 or 1975 at a dance hall at Lake Shetek in SW MN. Good show. We saw Mitch Ryder outdoors under (beside) the rollercoaster at Okoboji in NW Iowa. Fun show. He was part of a rock and roll review that had 10 or 12 acts from the 60's and 70's fame.
mulegolf Sneakylong A woman who worked for me as a 911 dispatcher said her brother was Van Morrison's head of security.

mikeintopeka mulegolf - I have a lot of good memories from summer trips to Okoboji with friends in the late 70s. How about that open air tabernacle with bands on the weekends aka hook-up central?

mulegolf mikeintopeka Always meant to ask, are you the Mike in Topeka who used to call in to Sid Hartman's Sunday Sports Huddle show? I got a kick out of how Mike in Topeka used to get under his skin. A lot of things/people seemed to get under his skin back then. He was a great columnist though in his day.
mikeintopeka mulegolf - that is not me because I'm not ready for live call in shows yet. I AM practicing on getting under peoples skins by participating on this forum however. 😎
